John Orton
John Andrew Orton (born December 8, 1965, in Santa Cruz, California) was a Major League Baseball catcher. He is an alumnus of the California Polytechnic State University.
Drafted by the California Angels in the 1st round of the 1987 MLB amateur draft, Orton would make his Major League Baseball debut with the California Angels on August 20, 1989, and appear in his final game on July 4, 1993.
